Join us in the Jotunheimen National Park, also known as the 'Land of the Giants'. This is lightweight backpacking – staying in mountain huts (some of which are more like hotels), learning about navigation, hiking through the snowy-capped mountains, and ending the journey by summitting the highest peak in Norway.

Hardangervidda summer crossing
Our trek on the west side of Norway’s high arctic plateau - Hardangervidda, averaging 20km most days at an altitude of 1200-1400m. This part of the plateau is a gem with its changing landscape, and it’s rich and varied flora and fauna. Crossing this plateau is a real ‘classic’ tour, and this route passes by Hårteigen

From fjell to fjord
Hike with lightweight backpacks from ‘fjell to fjord’ over the Norwegian mountains north of Finse, along the Aurlandsdalen valley - one of Norway’s famous hiking trails, with magnificent views over the deeply cut river valley with impressive waterfalls, before descending to Sognefjord on the west coast.

Telemark in summer
Join us for day trip hikes from our basecamp mountain lodge, high above the Rjukan valley at the southern end of the Hardangervidda – an area famous for its links with the WWll Heroes of Telemark story. Our trip concludes with a hike to the summit of Gausta – the highest peak in southern Norway.
